Recently, a United Nations investigation team submitted a report on the attackon Saudi oil production facilities in September 2019. Reports indicatethat the attack was not carried out by Hussein military equipment in Yemen.

According to a Reuters report on January 9, on December 27, 2019, a UNinvestigation team composed of independent experts submitted an investigationreport to the Security Council's Yemen Sanctions Committee, some of which wereinformed by the media.

The report stated that the mission suspected that neither Hussein drones norcruise missiles in Yemen were capable of attacking two Saudi oil productionfacilities from within Yemen. "The range of Hussein drones and cruisemissiles is difficult to cover the two facilities under attack." Thedelegation also believed that Hussein did not have "the ability to developand manufacture relatively advanced weapons"
